1. In this competitive written examination, admission is granted on a provisional basis at the candidate's own risk, except for verifying the details mentioned in the online application form, based on the provisions of the original advertisement published by the Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation and the related conditions. If any mistake is found by checking the details mentioned in the application form or if it is found at any stage that the candidate does not satisfy any condition as per the recruitment rules, examination rules and advertisement provisions, then your candidature will be cancelled. No representation will be entertained in this regard.
2. Only the percentage obtained by the candidate in the prescribed educational qualification as sought in the advertisement for this post will be considered. The percentage of any additional educational qualification obtained later will not be considered.
3. For sportsmen athletes and widow women candidates, who are not remarried and as per the existing provisions of the Govt., in the merit list, 5% of the marks obtained by them in the written examination will be added and ex-servicemen candidates will be given additional marks as per the existing provisions of the Govt. and as decided by the selection committee. As per the norms which will be given to the appointee in that category.
5. For identification while attending the examination, any one of election card, driving license, PAN card or school/college photo ID card, Aadhaar card and photo ID card issued by a government or semi-government organization should be carried, which should be shown when asked by the class invigilator.
6. Admission will not be allowed after the commencement of the examination and since this is an objective examination, the examination hall will not be allowed to be left till the time for writing the question paper is completed during the entire duration of the examination. The candidature of the candidates who are absent during the written examination will be considered canceled and no further submissions in this regard will be entertained.
7. The candidate will have to appear in the examination at his own expense.

10. The answer book of this examination question paper will be OMR optical mark reading method. Candidates have to indicate the seat number in numbers and indicate the correct answer in the answer book with blue/black ballpoint pen in the correct answer box from the number A,B,C,D,E indicated against the order of that question.
11. Only blue/black ball point pen should be used for writing in the answer book.

The candidate has to leave the examination hall only after returning the lower half of the attendance sheet at the beginning of the examination and the answer book to the invigilator after the examination. The candidate who fails to do so will be disqualified from the examination. After the examination, the candidate can only keep the upper half of the admit card and the question paper.
13. Candidates are prohibited from carrying any items like notes, notes, calculators, books, mathematical instruments, mobiles, pagers or any other type of equipment except the admit card in the examination hall. If any candidate is caught with any electrical equipment, he/she will be immediately removed from the examination hall and the answer book and question paper will be confiscated from the candidate and the candidate will have to give a written statement about it. If roll number/question book series or number is written wrongly or encoding is done wrongly in the answer book by the candidate, then such answer book cannot be checked by automatic machine/reader. Also, if any other defective answer book cannot be checked by the automatic machine/reader, it will be the full responsibility of the candidate.
